Mike Luckovich, Pulitzer-Prize-winning political cartoonist for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (and self-proclaimed Daily Kos fan), has once again produced a simple yet profound critique of conservative logic.
It goes without saying that tax breaks for billion-dollar corporations and Wall Street millionaires do not create dependencies. They 'motivate' further exploitation and reward hard work (and the exporting of jobs overseas).

But Food stamps? Public assistance? For those drowning under an ocean of debt and closed opportunities?
These things don't help struggling Americans find their footing so they can pull themselves up by their bootstraps. No, they're just methods of coddling those who should learn to fend for themselves.
What a strange, and heartless, intellectual web.
